PSB certification is administered by the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board of Singapore (SPRING Singapore). PSB stands for the former Singapore Productivity and Standards Board, since reorganized as SPRING (Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board), which administers the Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Registration Scheme (CPS Scheme) to ensure the safety of consumer electrical, electronic, and gas appliances and products. Controlled goods announced by the Singapore authorities must meet safety standard requirements, and controlled electrical products are subject to mandatory PSB certification. Before a product enters Singapore, a company registered in Singapore must act as the holder of the PSB certification.
